i would like some info about double overdrive. I just bought a 99 F250 4x4. I have heard about double over drive and i am wondering how it works, when do you use it. This is a daily driver alot of hwy miles, pulling occasionally. Also I have questions about thw water seperator. I have been told it is leaking and was wondering if anyone else has had the problem and what did you do to fix the problem?

Gear Vendors make and over underdrive that can fitted to almost any pickup. Its an auxilary unit that goes behind the transmission. It can be used to spilt any gear. with an in cab selector. www.gearvendors.com

most of the time its the drain valve on the back of the seperator, you just need to take it of and replace the seals or the whole valve itself sometimes
