LB7 Duramax into 1992 Chevy

All right, I have a 1992 Chevy K1500 ext. cab with a 350ci and an nv3500. I've been curious as to whether and LB7 would fit in this truck and how much work it would take to make it fit, as I've been bitten by the diesel bug and the quest for power and reliability. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You need to go check out thedieselpage.com they have a conversion guide and a pretty cool duramax half ton.

wow i never new u could but a LB7 in a 1500. i wana do the same. I got a 1997 k1500. i was going to put the 6.5l in mine. i might not now
