I have a 1995 Freightliner with a B series ISB rated at 230HP and a Bosch pump.I have looked at the tag on the pump and it does not appear to be the P7100.It has a Allison MD3060P 5 speed tran with a 4:56 gear. I have read about fuel plate mods etc and wonder if mods apply to my engine. I am getting passed by everything on the road. This truck has a ambulance body which is aluminum but the inside is pressboard. I am in the process of removing everything but the shell hoping to get the weight down.
What makes you think it's not a P7100? What mods you do depend on the fuel system you have.
