I had this problem before and after lots of advice I found that releaving the pressure in the fuel return hose on the front of the IP would get it started and it would work perfectly for a month or so...then it would happen again. so I got good at releaving the pressure when needed. But now, all of a sudden that trick won't work any more.It will start right away, but dies before I can even turn the key back off of start. Some of what I've done so far:I am getting fuel thru the filter top.Starter switch circuits check out OK.All new glow plugs.tried to start with optical sensor disconnected...same thing.Checked the engine shut off selinoid...it worksUnscrewed 3 of the injector tubes, had a helper crank it, seemed to only get one good squirt during a 10 sec. crank ??Just replaced the PMD.Still the same symptoms. Tomorrow I will check the voltages to the PMD.Any other suggestions?Next Day:NOTE this morning it started and runs great...so don't know if it was the PMD after all or whatThat's about all I know about it. To be continued probably...
